The breeding pigeons have already gone through the moult in most lofts and will be given 50% Winter/Rest No 16
mixed with 50% Rui Pro Revolution No 55
or Breeding Pro Revolution No 58 from now until they breed.
This ensures the last feathers are still thrown and the pigeons can build up the necessary reserves without becoming too fat.
They get a daily dose of Super Grit Mix for the necessary minerals and 2 times a week HYP 100 is added into the drinking water.
It is also recommended to give Health Balance 5 days a week throughout the breeding period. This gets them in better shape and their natural resistance improves considerably.
The last week of the breeding period we switch to 100% Breeding Pro Revolution no. 58.
On many lofts, it is far too humid during the winter months.
We'd better do something about that .
Sprinkle some floor granules daily over the damp areas or under the wooden floors and remove them again when saturated.
From weaning, young pigeons are given Junior Pro Revolution No 49, which they must eat completely after 2 weeks before receiving an additional portion. This mixture contains the perfect ratio of legumes, fats, proteins and carbohydrates. Because this mixture also contains enough fibre, the young keep their intestinal flora healthy. Junior Pro Revolution no. 49 can safely be given as a flight mixture throughout the week until the first speed races. Daily Health Balance in the drinking water from weaning onwards and a portion of Super Grit Mix contribute to healthy growth.
The old racers are given an adapted mixture from the weaning of their youngsters until 2 weeks before rearing. Winter/Rust N°16 is ideally suited for this purpose. It contains little or no legumes but the necessary fibres that are essential at this time of year. With this mixture, they quickly get in shape as soon as the flights start. From training onwards and during the first speed races, you can then switch to Sport Light Pro Revolution no. 57.

This pellet is cold pressed which has the advantage that no damage to nutrients & supplements happens during production and it retains flavour without the addition of additives. The lower the temperature the more the ingredients will retain their original & qualitative state. This is in contrast to a classic extruded pellet where at a temperature of +100° the nutrients are damaged and extra flavourings are added which do not always have a healthy influence on the pigeon's metabolism.
